Facility Bookings - General Information

Booking Details and Rental Agreement

All bookings on a first come, first serve basis
All bookings must sign a license agreement prior to function start time
Facilities available from 8:30 am–4:30 pm. Limited rentals are available during summer public hours
Reservations can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the function without a fee. Failure to cancel within 48 hours (or show up) will result in a charge of $75.
Gift shop access only available during public hours of operation (Winter 10 am – 4 pm; Summer 9 am – 5 pm)
Payment terms – 30 days or subject to 5% surcharge. Acceptable forms of payment include: VISA, MasterCard, cash, and cheque.
Account invoice available upon request
GST applicable to all service charges

Rooms and Rates

Multiple room bookings eligible for 20% discount
All bookings include access to our award-winning exhibit hall
Set-up/take-down time included in the rate charge. Additional time can be booked at an hourly rate
Functions extending past the booked time will be subject to charges at the hourly room rate
Non-smoking facility-designated smoking areas available outside

Equipment and Services

Unless otherwise noted, all equipment available included in rental charges (i.e. digital projector, flipcharts, laser pointer, audio equipment, etc.)
Dry-run highly recommended for all A/V presentations
Special equipment rented for function will be charged back at applicable rate (i.e. hand-held mikes)
A/V Technician available to assist with complex technical requirements. Hourly rate charged ($31/hr.), and must be booked in advance.
Office services charged per use: photocopies @ $.025/page, fax @ $1.00/page

Beverage/Food Service

Limited beverage service (coffee/tea/juice/water) available and must be booked in advance:

User groups responsible for arranging own catering. Available vendors include:
